Help restore the plaque benefit was great!

The old plaque told about the town being the original county seat with thousands of people until the area ran out of gold.
They eventually destroyed the last of the town to get the remaining gold underneath it.
The plaque was stolen a couple of times and has not been replaced for many years since the last one.
Proceeds went to the Illinois Valley Historical Society

Children at the pool or with fireworks must be under their own adults supervision at all times.
ALL Fireworks allowed ONLY in designated green areas, strict fire safety rules enforced.
NO Dogs allowed!
